Cooking should feel like cooking, not monitoring
We built CulinaSense because great home cooking should not depend on constant vigilance. A connected system that watches conditions, coordinates timing, and guides you through transitions lets you focus on the meal itself.
Our story
CulinaSense started with a simple observation: home cooks were surrounded by smart devices, yet still juggling timers, checking temperatures by hand, and hoping the oven was doing its job while they managed the stovetop.
Static recipes assume perfect conditions. Conventional controls give limited feedback. The result? Inconsistent meals, wasted food, and the low-grade stress of wondering if you got the timing right.
We set out to build something different: a connected cooking-control system that coordinates stovetop and oven steps through live sensor data and adaptive guidance. Not a robot chef. Not a dashboard of raw readings. A calm, practical assistant that watches what matters and tells you what to do next, in familiar cooking terms, while keeping every decision in your hands.
Today, CulinaSense helps busy parents, weeknight cooks, and meal-prep households achieve consistent results across everyday meals. We focus on the coordination that matters most: heat, timing, transfers, safety, and doneness.
Our mission
Reduce the monitoring and guesswork in everyday cooking so home cooks can achieve consistent, safe, and satisfying meals with confidence.
We believe cooking assistance should be grounded, attentive, encouraging, and controlled. It should make advanced technology understandable and practical, notice meaningful changes at the right moment, build confidence by making progress visible, and keep every decision bounded and subject to deliberate user direction.
What guides us
Make state legible
Show what is happening, what has changed, and what the system expects without requiring interpretation.
Respect the cook
Every feature preserves manual control. Corrections are framed as guidance, never blame. Learning is a normal part of cooking.
Keep recovery nearby
Every interruption and alert comes with a clear path to resume, revise, or safely stop. Safety creates focus, not panic.
Earn attention progressively
Start with essential information and expose deeper detail only when a cook chooses to investigate.
